Palais Niederoesterreich -
wonderful weddings in the center of Vienna
Palais Niederoesterreich in the old Landhaus in the Herrengasse has had a very eventful history. It was originally the home of the so-called "Staende", the political representatives of upper classes, knights and prelates. The "Staende" acquired the Landhaus in 1513 in order to be near the reigning prince and to hold assemblies in Vienna. Precious interiors such as the Landhauskapelle and the Gotisches Zimmer have remained from this late Gothic building.
Today the Palais Niederoesterreich resembles the perfect combination of tradition and history after having been lovingly renovated and restored following the guidelines for the protection of historical monuments recently.
Weddings can be held on weekdays between 4 and 6 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm.
