Chapel in Schoenbrunn Palace -
dream weddings in the Imperial Church
Vienna offers wonderful places for dream weddings and one of its most romantic and elegant venues is the baroque Chapel in Schoenbrunn Palace.
The Chapel was built in the mid-17th century and refurnished and opened by Maria Theresia in the year 1745. The original form and arrangement of Fischer von Erlach has always been preserved.
The roman catholic chapel “Zu Maria Vermählung” is opened to all couples for a church wedding, the only prerequisite is the catholic or protestant denomination of at least one of the partners.
Following the church wedding you can use the private rooms of Empress Sisi in the Palace for your cocktail reception, rooms which are normally closed for the public.
